Welding I is a three-credit course in which students develop knowledge and skills in occupational awareness, drawings, welding symbols, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma arc cutting, carbon arc cutting practices, and visual inspection principles and practices.
