Course Description:
Automotive Body Repair I (Collision Repair) is a one-year, three-credit course, which provides training in the following areas: use of shop tools, basic construction, sheet metal alignment, basic MIG welding procedures, parts replacement, equipment operation, and application and finishing of filler materials. Upon successful completion of the one-year course, students are encouraged to enroll in the Automotive Body II to complement their knowledge. This program is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
