The Crestwood Middle School Choral Department is comprised of three choruses:  sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

It is recommended that students begin chorus in the sixth grade and continue throughout  middle school.  Sixth grade chorus students are trained in beginning performance skills, music theory and aural skills.  Each consecutive year students develop skills that were learned in previous classes, perform more advanced repertoire and have increased performance opportunities.

Various styles of music are learned, ranging from classical to popular styles.  Many performances are given throughout the school year, both at Crestwood Middle School and in the community.

Crestwood Middle School Choruses have received SUPERIOR ratings at choral festivals for the past decade.  Your child is welcome to become a part of the Crestwood Middle School Choral Department.
