Chesapeake Public Schools
The mission of the Chesapeake Public Schools is to ensure that students attain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become lifelong learners and productive citizens by combining the efforts of students, parents, community, and staff to provide a quality education in a safe, orderly environment in which human dignity is valued.
Crestwood Middle School
The mission of Crestwood Middle School is  to academically and socially empower each student to become a critical thinker, lifelong learner, and productive citizen in a diverse society through a rigorous academic program, extra-curricular experiences, and the combined efforts of home, school, and community  in a safe, supportive environment.

3. We will promote character development and citizenship by addressing social trends and issues facing our students and community. Our students will show improvement in their independent thinking and citizenship skills.
