Poster Contest - Due December 8

As in previous years, the Chesapeake Public Schools is conducting a poster contest to highlight the importance of Character Education.  All elementary school students in the Division are invited to participate.  The details are as follows:

  • Posters should focus on some aspect of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY, CARING, COMPASSION, or CITIZENSHIP.

  • Posters are to be done at home.

  • Posters are due in the main office no later than Monday, December 8th.  All posters must have the student's name and grade on the back.

Message from the Principal
I am very happy to be a part of a dedicated and hardworking staff and school community. We strive to maintain a positive and safe learning environment where a quality education is our focus. We are committed to our school system's motto "Every Child...a Masterpiece." Our instructional program is outstanding and we are very excited to continue to be a fully accredited elementary school. Children at Deep Creek Central learn from a rigorous curriculum. They have lots of fun and are truly loved.

We are very proud of our students and staff and encourage active parental participation. Deep Creek Central Elementary School is a great place to learn.
