Some golden rules for Internet use:

  1. Always tell your parents when you go online.

  2. Know ahead of time what sites are off limits.

  3. Know what to do when you find an inappropriate website.

  4. Get permission to go to chat rooms.

  5. Know what to do when someone starts asking lots of questions.

  6. NEVER give out personal information (name, age, sex, location, or a picture)

  7. NEVER EVER meet someone in person.
