About GBHS

Great Bridge High School has experienced 101 years of “Tradition and Pride”. That motto was developed and stands firm through the sustained contributions of alumni and community members. The students and staff have benefitted from that loyal support.

The school mascot is the WILDCAT and the school colors are GREEN and GOLD. The colors and mascot are worn by the 20 athletic teams and the various club members and students who participate in the many school-sponsored activities. The 1700-member student body and 200-member staff are active in community service and work together to support the mission of the school.

Great Bridge High School welcomes parents as partners in their students’ education. Parents are an integral part of the success of the students and the school. On any given day you will find parent volunteers working in the building and many more who are contributing volunteer hours as members of booster organizations. We could not accomplish what we do without their support.
