Visitors, patrons, parents, and volunteers are welcome and encouraged to visit our school. All visitors must enter and depart through the school's main entrance. All visitors must check in with the school's security monitor to receive a visitor badge. Great Bridge Intermediate utilizes an automated Lobby Guard system to verify visitor identification information; visitors must present a photo I.D. (such as a drivers license) during this process.
Misplaced items such as coats, hats, lunch boxes, and notebooks are placed in the main office. Articles not claimed by the end of each semester are donated to charitable organizations.
Hot lunches, including a choice of milk, are served each school day. All students are expected to buy or bring a lunch. In an emergency, children will be allowed to charge their lunch. Extra milk and desserts, including ice cream, fruit, and cookies, may be purchased separately.
