American Society of Women Accountants

ASWA was formed in 1938 to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting and finance. The first chapter was chartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Members include partners in national, regional and local CPA firms, financial officers, controllers, academicians, financial analysts and data processing consultants, recent college graduates and women returning to the work force. The majority of our members have attained professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA, and CFP. The mission of ASWA is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.

Association of Government Accountants

AGA serves professionals in the government financial management community by providing quality education, fostering professional development and certification and supporting standards and research to advance government accountability.

National Society of Accountants

The National Society of Accountants is a non-profit organization of professionals who provide accounting, tax preparation, financial and estate planning, and management advisory services to an estimated 19 million individuals and business clients. Most of the Society's members are independent practitioners or partners in small to mid-size accounting and tax firms.

Institute of Management Accounting

The IMA is the leading professional organization devoted exclusively to management accounting and financial management. As set forth in its mission and vision statements, its goals are to help members develop both personally and professionally, by means of education, certification, and association with other business professionals.

American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants

This organization goals are to help members achieve their full potential and to actively promote equity within the profession.

Financial Accounting Standards Board

Since 1973, The Financial Accounting Standards Board has been the designated organization in the private sector for establishing standards of financial accounting and reporting. Those standards govern the preparation of financial reports. They are officially recognized as authoritative by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

American Society of Corporate Secretaries

The American Society of Corporate Secretaries, incorporated under New York Not-for-Profit Corporation Law on November 6, 1946, is a professional association whose membership is composed principally of corporate secretaries, assistant secretaries and other persons who are involved in duties traditionally association with the corporate secretarial function.
