City-wide Testing
Students in the Chesapeake Public School system will take a variety of standardized tests throughout their careers, including the Literacy Passport Test, the Stanford 9 Test, and Standards of Learning (SOL) tests.  For more information on these tests and a schedule of test administration at Indian River High school, visit the City-wide Standardized Testing Schedule, located in the Academics section.

 

Nationwide Testing
The guidance staff is available to help students coordinate the taking of several nationally-administered standardized tests, such as the SAT I and II and the ACT.  Guidance counselors are also able to offer tips on test-taking and preparation.  Visit your guidance counselor for more information.
