Miss Oscar Smith

Felecia is a 17-year-old senior and is a student at the Governor’s School for the Performing Arts. She is also a member of the Mathematics National Honors Society, and on the Praise Dance Team and on the usher board at Second Calvary Baptist Church. She won placements in Ballet Austin, Lines Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater and was part of the Chocolate Nutcracker. In addition, she won a grant from the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission, a full scholarship for the Dance Theater of Harlem summer intensive and Richmond Ballet summer intensive, a partial scholarship for Balletmet’s pre-professional summer intensive and Point Park University summer intensive, and a traineeship for Balletmet’s pre-professional program. She is very involved in the community and plans to become a member of Miami City Ballet and earn a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Studies.
