Four basic skill areas are emphasized in language study: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The understanding and appreciation of the cultural bases of a language are explored at all levels of study. Four semesters of study are usually necessary if one wishes to be able to use a language functionally.

The WBHS World Languages Department Scheduling Information Book has a wealth of information about our class offerings.
