Yearbook (VHSL regulated)

Purpose: The purpose of the yearbook is to provide a historical record of things that influenced or affected the school and students. It is a reference book of and for the community. It is a public relations tool that captures the year like a time capsule. It is representative of all students and activities in the school and the community. It captures the
spirit and personality of the school. It is the story of one school year in a responsible and creative way. Finally, it is a picture book.

Sponsor: Jennifer Settar

Meeting Time / Location: 1st bell in G19

Special qualifications/requirements: Student must submit an application to the yearbook sponsor. New students are chosen prior to spring scheduling. The class counts as an English elective and must fit the student’s academic schedule. A GPA of 2.0 is required. The class is VHSL regulated. Along with the application, students must submit a letter of recommendation from an English teacher at WBHS. Photography skills are helpful.
