Graduation Requirements
Students in
grades nine through twelve must obtain at least twenty-two credits of
prescribed study in order to graduate from Chesapeake City Public Schools.
An Advanced Studies Diploma, which requires twenty-four (24) credits
of prescribed study, is also available. Both of these programs are designed
to ensure that students have a solid background in certain essential
areas of study that provide the skills and knowledge necessary to continue
to learn after high school. Also, all students must pass computer requirements
and current juniors and seniors must pass LPT for graduation.
