The Extended Day Program has been established to help students who could fail course due to absences. A student may redeem a maximum of four (4) days per course during a term. A student may redeem one class for one extended day period. Students who have excessive absences and have not attended any extended day programs may not be considered for extenuating circumstances by the principal. The extended day period will be held on specified Monday and Wednesdays from 3:45 PM until 5:15 PM only.
1. The session is held from 3:45 until 5:15 PM. No student is to be admitted after 3:45 PM nor will s/he be allowed to leave prior to 5:15 PM without losing credit for the session.2. Students who do not bring school work with them to the session will be asked to leave the session and will not receive credit for the session.3. Students who do not work for the entire session on school work should not receive credit for the session.4. No misbehavior of any type will be tolerated within the extended day session.5. Students will not be allowed to eat, drink or sleep during the extended day session.6. The extended day program is a voluntary program and it is the student's and parent's responsibility to schedule transportation for this program.
