GED:  Get the Facts!

The purpose of the GED test is to enable persons who have not graduated from high school to demonstrate attainment of abilities normally associated
with completion of a high school program of study.

* By achieving satisfactory
scores on the GED tests,
adults may earn a GED
certificate. The certificate
may qualify the individual
for:

- Admission to college or
more advanced educational
opportunities


- Induction into the United
States Armed Forces based
on satisfactory completion 
of the GED tests or the
pre-established military cut
score


- Employment or           promotional opportunities

We offer a variety of adult educational opportunities/programs are available to Chesapeake residents and non-residents.  Adult programs include:
