The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is designed to help limited English proficient adults to learn English as quickly as possible. Emphasis is placed on oral and written communication skills necessary for success in American society. Activities reflect real-life situations and help students in the workplace and in the home. 

ESOL classes are free to qualified adults.

Who can qualify to participate in ESOL? 
Participant must be 18 years or older; 
Participant was not born in the United States and his/her native language is a language other than English and comes from an environment where a language other than English is dominant;
Participant is a Native American or Alaskan native who is a native resident of an outlying area and comes from an environment where a language other than English has had a significant impact on such individual’s level of English proficiency;
Participant is migratory and whose native language is other than English and comes from an environment where a language other than English is dominant;
Participant is experiencing difficulty in speaking, reading, writing, or understanding the English language and whose difficulties may deny him/her the opportunity to learn successfully in classrooms where the language of instruction is English or to participate fully in our society.
