VHSL Wachovia Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award

This annual award, presented by the VHSL to qualifying member schools, recognizes schools for implementing year long sportsmanship plans that educates all groups, including students, coaches, parents, and fans throughout the school year. The plan consists of a 50 point assessment that is evaluated by the VHSL staff, and a school must score 90% or better to qualify. For the 2007-08 school year, only 17 of the 305 public high schools in Virginia met the qualification.
