Bus Drivers and Bus Assistants Needed
Chesapeake Public Schools is currently seeking dependable, conscientious individuals to serve as bus drivers and bus assistants for our school division. If you are interested in becoming a bus driver or a bus assistant, click here to view employment opportunities and complete an application. We provide all training necessary to acquire a commercial driver's license (CDL) and skills necessary for operating a school bus. We look forward to working with you.
New Employment Application System
This summer, Chesapeake Public Schools will be upgrading its online employment application system. Starting July 1, 2015, applicants will be required to create a new account and application to apply for any new jobs. Any applications submitted to the Department of Human Resources prior to July 1, 2015, will remain active only through September 15, 2015. Applicants who wish to be considered after September 15, 2015, will need to reapply online through our new application system beginning July 1, 2015.
