G. A. Treakle Elementary school is one of 28 elementary schools in the Chesapeake Public School district. Our school is located at 2500 Gilmerton Road, Chesapeake, VA 23323.

We serve a very stable and diverse community of single-family homes with extended family. Treakle participates in several exceptional programs. We offer tutoring, free lunch and breakfast services, and a variety of special education programs. Treakle students are active in the SCA, Safety Patrol, and PBIS. Treakle is involved in all aspects of the Deep Creek community.
