NAHS students had an incredible opportunity after school to meet with Assistant Chief Heckler from the Chesapeake Police Department. He shared the CPD mission and purpose, along with his hopes for the mural project. Our students truly stepped up—working collaboratively in groups to present thoughtful mural concepts, gathering feedback, and then regrouping to sketch and refine new ideas. It was an inspiring moment of creativity, teamwork, and community partnership in action.
