Today was an incredibly special day in Mrs. Johnson’s class! Chief Petty Officer Eliepa Mataafa, an Aviation Electronics Technician (ATC), just returned home last night from a long deployment aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford—and she was so excited to pull off the ultimate surprise for her son and his classmates today!
The look on his face was priceless. ❤️
To make the homecoming even sweeter, Mrs. Johnson and the students created beautiful, handmade cards to thank Chief Petty Officer Mataafa for her service. Then, she sat down and read her son's absolute favorite book to the entire class. 🥰📚
Thank you, Chief Petty Officer Mataafa, for your leadership, dedication, and service to our country, and for sharing this unforgettable first day back with our school community. We are so honored to have you home!

How do you teach kindergarteners about "Changes Over Time"? With homemade ice cream, of course! 🍦✨
Today, our littlest learners explored fast vs. slow changes by shaking up some liquid ingredients into a frozen treat. Delicious science in action! 🧠❄️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Volunteer Appreciation Reception! They say it takes a village, but we’re pretty sure our village is powered by these individuals who show up for our kids to enrich them in so many ways!
Our school thrives because you choose to roll up your sleeves, and make things happen for our students. Whether you spent an hours putting books on shelves in the library or a Friday night running a festival, we see you and we appreciate you.
A big thank you to our PTA President-Chelsie Ardelan! Your service to our school the last four years does not go unnoticed and we love you!

A huge THANK YOU to Rainbow Puppets for visiting us today! 🌈✨
Our students were absolutely mesmerized by the show. There’s nothing quite like seeing stories come to life to remind us all why reading is such a grand adventure.
We loved the music, the laughs, and the message. You’ve definitely sparked some new "reading fever" in our hallways! 📚🎭
