Our next Sibshops will be held on May 8, 2024, at Portlock Primary School. This event is free for siblings (brothers and sisters of children with special needs) in grades 2-8 only. Light dinner will be provided.

The cast of Mary Poppins was at BRP this morning! Our students had a blast watching a sneak peek of the performance to be seen at Hickory High School this month! One of our own little hawks is even part of the cast!

Join us for our second School Safety Forum on Wed., May 22nd at Western Branch High School at 5:30 p.m. Representatives of the School Safety Taskforce (SSTF) will provide a brief update on policies and procedures followed by a Q&A session. Learn more: www.cpschools.com/safety
On Saturday, Indian River High School hosted Operation Military Families! Operation Military Families allowed for our district's military families to participate in information sessions and fun activities for students.
Throughout the evening, families were able to get complimentary family portraits taken by Lifetouch, enjoy performances by the U.S. Fleet Forces Band Woodwind Quartet, eat a pizza dinner and learn about resources offered to military families in our area.
Special thanks to Captain Matt Frauenzimmer for taking the time to speak to our families and the Office of Family and Community Engagement for continuing their commitment to serving our community.
