Athletics & Student Activities

Chesapeake Public Schools recognizes the importance of extracurricular activities in the education process and the values that students develop when they have the opportunity to participate in an organized activity outside the traditional classroom. Our district goals aim to provide a safe and supportive learning environment which extends to athletics and student activities. The district will abide by district and School Board guidelines outlined in the student handbook, and regulations issued by the state (VHSL) and the federal government (Title IX).

Physicals

In order to ensure the safety of all our student-athletes in Chesapeake Public Schools, all student athletes are required to have a physical form on file in order to participate in athletic tryouts, competitions, and practices.

GoFan

Tickets for high school athletic events must be purchased online using the GoFan website. GoFan sells mobile tickets for ALL middle and high school athletic events – including all sports for home and away games. Purchasing tickets online permits fans to easily access and share tickets (email or text) without standing in line.

All school accounts can be accessed using the GoFan website. Each middle and high school will have a dedicated GoFan page for ticket sales.

Single Event Tickets

The GoFan website sells annual athletic passes and single event tickets. A single event ticket provides admittance to one game

*Please note: There is no cash option for admittance to a high school or middle school event.

Annual Athletic Passes

Athletic event passes will be available for purchase online only using the GoFan website.

Student Annual Pass – $20

The Student Annual Athletic Pass provides admittance to any VHSL or CMSL regular season games in Chesapeake, including CMSL tournament games. The $20.00 price includes the service fee for GoFan. Students will redeem their passes using their smartphones at each eligible athletic contest.

Adult Annual Pass – $50

The Adult Annual Athletic Pass provides admittance to any VHSL or CMSL regular season games in Chesapeake, including CMSL tournament games. The $50.00 price includes the service fee for GoFan. Guests will redeem their passes using their smartphones at each eligible athletic contest.

Insurance
