Our 2nd grade students stepped into the role of “employees” for a hands-on STEM challenge! Students worked in two departments to design, build, and test a toy that could be pushed or pulled.
As they tested their creations, students identified problems, thought about what needed to be changed, and made improvements to get their toys moving just the way they wanted!
Through this engaging challenge, students investigated how different types of forces can cause an object’s motion to change, bringing their SOL 2.2 learning to life!
Our little engineers were busy designing, testing, problem-solving, and learning!
