We are proud to offer three high school academy programs to students throughout the district! All 8th graders are invited to apply!

Celebrate GIS with us!
We invite students to complete a virtual scavenger hunt using GIS technology. Students who complete the challenge by Nov. 29, 2023, can enter to win a prize.

Middle and high school families are invited to join us for a forum about the fentanyl epidemic on November 29, 2023, at Great Bridge Middle School at 6:00 p.m. In partnership with the Chesapeake Police Department, we will discuss the growing epidemic and how you can support your child. Academy night will be hosted at CWM on Wednesday, November 8th from 6-7:30pm. Academy flags will be placed outside the entrance to the building.
The student-led booths will be open from 6 pm to 6:30 pm and presentations will start at 6:30 pm. The presentations should take approximately an hour.

Join us this November in celebrating Native American Heritage Month, or as it is also referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month.
This month is a time to celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. It is also an opportunity to learn about tribes and their cultures, and to raise awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced and how they have worked to conquer these challenges. #CPSCelebrates
