🎓 Attention Class of 2026 Graduates and Departing Students! Order Your Final Transcript Before the July 31 Deadline!

Whether you are heading to college, joining the military, entering the workforce, or relocating, it’s time to secure your official records. Final transcripts are completely free for 2026 graduates when requested by July 31, 2026. Starting August 1, 2026, you are officially considered alumni, and standard transcript fees will apply to all orders. We strongly recommend that all departing students secure a digital copy for their personal files before the summer deadline.

How to Request Your Transcript

Follow these steps to submit your request securely through Parchment:

Step 1 - Visit Parchment

Go to www.parchment.com and log into your account or create a new profile if you haven't already.

Step 2 - Submit Your Official Request

Select the destination where you need your official transcript sent (such as a college, employer, military branch, or to an individual/yourself).

Step 3 - Place a Hold for Final Grades

When finalizing your request, in “order details”, under processing time, you must select the option to “Hold for Grades” to release the transcript once your school has ensured final grades have been processed and submitted. This critical step ensures your final, end-of-year grades and graduation status are fully processed and included before the transcript is sent.

Step 4 - Order a Personal Copy

Before logging out, remember to also request a digital copy of your final transcript to be sent to your personal email address for your permanent records.

Save Your CPS Google Drive Files

For many in our district, especially our Class of 2026 graduate class, the end of the school year marks the end of their time enrolled in our district. For students leaving the district, please remember that your Chesapeake Public Schools Google Workspace account will be deactivated and deleted. Students (including graduates) have 7 calendar days from the last official day of school to transfer or download any files they wish to keep. After this time, they will permanently lose access to their school documents, projects, and files. Review our Help Desk article to learn how to transfer data from a district account to a personal account.
