🏆 Causeway Yearbook Staff Claims Highest Honors at VHSL Media Championships!

Huge congratulations to the 2026 Causeway yearbook staff! Their edition, Golden Hour, was awarded the prestigious Trophy Class rating at the VHSL Media Championships this past weekend.

A Trophy Class rating is the highest honor awarded by the Virginia High School League—the equivalent of winning a State Championship! This marks a historic milestone as the first Trophy Class rating in the program's history.

A big round of applause to Editors-in-Chief Addison Mawyer and Marcy Stambaugh for leading the staff to this incredible achievement, as well as our individual state award winners:

• Bridgette Rhodes – 2nd Place, Sports Coverage

• Savannah Pratt – 2nd Place, People Coverage

• Hailey Rausch – 2nd Place, Caption Writing

• Marcy Stambaugh – 3rd Place, Sports Coverage

• Amari Simons Baum – 3rd Place, Candid Photography

Congratulations to the entire team on making school history!
