What's changing?
To join, parents must either donate an item or volunteer for a short shift.
✅ RSVPs will only be accepted after you’ve signed up to donate or volunteer.
⛔️ Teachers and Room Parents won’t be tracking attendance... RSVPs go through our (PTA) form only.
🎟 You’ll need to submit an RSVP for each grade you plan to attend because badges are printed by grade.
Why are we required to donate/volunteer to attend?
Think of it like one of those “donate a canned good for admission” type events.
Having this requirement helps ensure that we have enough food and support for everyone attending. Since we also provide food for parents, these events end up serving well over 1,200 people between students, staff, and families.
It also helps make sure we have enough volunteers to actually run the event. When we are short on help, the PTA Executive Board ends up spending the entire event working instead of getting to spend some time with their own children, which is something I never want to happen.
