Field Day and End-of-Year Picnics
As the school year comes to a close, our Wildcats are gearing up for one of the most exciting traditions of the year—Field Day and End-of-Year Picnic celebrations! Each grade level will have its own dedicated day to enjoy outdoor activities, celebrate accomplishments, and wrap up the year together.
Event Dates by Grade Level:
PreK/Kindergarten: May 27, 2026
(PreK families will receive additional details from their teachers.)First Grade: May 28, 2026
Second Grade: May 29, 2026
Rain Dates (if needed): June 1–3, 2026
Each celebration will begin with Field Day activities, followed by a picnic and classroom awards presentation.
Daily Schedule:
9:00–10:30 AM – Field Day
10:30–10:45 AM – Transition/Restroom Break
10:45–11:45 AM – End-of-Year Picnic & Awards
Attendance and Registration Information
Parents and guardians listed in Synergy are invited to attend both Field Day and the picnic portion of the event. To ensure safety and organization:
Pre-registration is required for all attendees by May 19, 2026
Only registered parents/guardians may attend (no additional family members or siblings)
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for check-in and badge pickup
Parents and guardians will be able to spectate Field Day activities if they are not volunteering. However, they will not participate in or join student activity stations. Parents will then join their child’s class for the End-of-Year Picnic celebration.

Volunteers
We also need volunteers to help run fun Field Day stations for students! Please sign up using the link below for your child's grade-level.
Volunteers are also welcome to attend the End-of-Year Picnic with their student after Field Day. In addition to signing up as a volunteer, you must complete the appropriate grade-level parent/guardian sign-up (linked above) so security can prepare badges—only pre-registered volunteers will be allowed. Sign-up closes 5/19/26.
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM for volunteers.

Arrival and Parking
Parking is limited, and families are encouraged to carpool when possible. Attendees should:
Use the public parking lot behind the school
Enter through the bus ramp gate closest to the parking area
Check in upon arrival before entering the event space
All activities will take place in the bus ramp area.
Weather Contingency Plan
In the event of inclement weather, celebrations will be rescheduled to one of the designated rain dates. Families who have already registered will not need to sign up again for a rescheduled date.
PTA Support and Picnic Details
Our PTA is partnering with the school to help make these events a success by coordinating food, supplies, and volunteer opportunities. Additional sign-up information will be shared for those interested in helping with setup, cleanup, or donations.
Food will be provided for students and staff during the picnic. As a special treat, and thanks to the success of the DanceFit fundraiser, an ice cream truck will be on site for each event. All students will receive a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Families will be contacted regarding any allergy considerations, and parents can notify teachers if they prefer their child not receive ice cream.
