Last Thursday, we gathered for our district retirement ceremony to celebrate the “Noteworthy Impact” our 2026 retirees have made across Chesapeake Public Schools. 💙✨

Together, we honored 166 dedicated employees whose service, leadership, and compassion have helped shape the lives of students, staff, families, and our entire community. Together, they represent 3,499 collective years of commitment to public education and student success. #CPSCelebrates #EmpowerCPS

As this week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible teachers who make our school so special. 🍎💚🐾

Our teachers pour so much of themselves into their classrooms each and every day—encouraging, supporting, teaching, loving, and believing in their students. The impact they make reaches far beyond academics, and GBP is better because of them!

While we couldn’t fit every amazing teacher into the photos on this post, today we celebrate all of them and the countless ways they make a difference every single day. Thank you, teachers, for all that you do. You are deeply appreciated this week and always!
