Hickory High School's Red Cross Club has been nominated for Virginia Red Cross Club of the Year by the Coastal Virginia Region of the American Red Cross. The club has sponsored a successful blood drive, completed service projects for our troops and veterans, and will be hosting another blood drive on May 10. In the meantime, they have plans to educate classmates about how the American Red Cross provides disaster relief to those in need and about the multitude of volunteer opportunities within the Red Cross organization.
