Lorna Owens has been a valued member of the Southeastern Elementary family since September 2020. She has always felt called to education, coming from a family filled with educators who inspired her passion for working with children.
Outside of school, Lorna enjoys spending time with friends and family, relaxing at the beach, taking road trips, and discovering new coffee shops. At Southeastern, her greatest joy comes from watching students experience those special “light-bulb moments” when a new skill or concept finally clicks. She treasures the daily connections she builds with students, especially the smiles, morning hugs, and relationships that make each day meaningful.
