Good afternoon, Southeastern Elementary families. Here are several important announcements and reminders for March.
First, here is the March Family Calendar. It serves as a monthly reference for your student's upcoming assessments, designated resource days, school-wide activities, and spirit days.
Second, we have two field trips this week: 1st grade on Wednesday and 5th grade on Thursday. On Thursday, 5th graders must arrive by 6:40 AM for a 7:00 AM departure. To ensure the buses can leave on time, we ask that other families wait until 7:00 AM to begin the standard drop-off line. Please remember that school IDs are required for all trips; if your student needs a replacement, please arrange for one prior to their trip date.
Next, just a reminder that Friday, March 6th, is an elementary-only teacher work day. Please ensure you have made childcare arrangements as necessary.
And finally, if your family is considering the Chesapeake Virtual Academy as your child’s educational option for next school year, please note that applications are available on the CVA website and will close on March 12, 2026.
