It’s time to celebrate our brave students! In honor of the Month of the Military Child, Southwestern Elementary is hosting a Spirit Week from April 14th to April 17th.
Join us as we recognize the courage and resilience of our military families with the following daily themes:
Spirit Week Schedule
Tuesday, April 14: Superhero Day 🦸♂️ Dress as your favorite superhero or wear a superhero shirt! Military children are everyday heroes who show incredible strength and flexibility.
Wednesday, April 15: Purple Up! Day 💜 Wear purple to show support for military children. Purple represents all branches of the military combined. Let's fill the school with purple!
Thursday, April 16: Hats off to Military Kids Day 🎩 Wear your favorite hat to honor the strength and resilience of military children! "Hats off" is a way of showing respect and appreciation.
Friday, April 17: R.E.D. Day ❤️ We wear Remember Everyone Deployed. Wear red to honor and remember the service members currently serving away from home.
