Truitt Asynchronous Schedule

20-minute classes with 10-minute transitions

  • Teachers will post assignments to be completed asynchronously (independently) in Canvas by 8:30 AM

  • Teachers will be logged in to Google Meet and available for office hours for each learning block (excluding planning blocks) and as needed for 1:1 appointments.  Teachers will provide support in each subject based on the schedule published in each teacher’s course in Canvas (sample below).

  • Student attendance is not mandatory during office hours, but students should log in if they need assistance completing the assigned asynchronous work for the day.

  • Support will be available for ELA, math, science, social studies, academic support for students receiving special education services, and resources (art, music, PE, library, or school counseling).

  • Each grade level teacher will follow their standard sequence of subjects (ELA, Math, science, etc) through the seven blocks, providing students with the opportunity to receive support for their regularly scheduled resource class at the appropriate time.

  • Students may access Google Meet using an access code posted in their Canvas course.
