The School Board of Chesapeake Public Schools approved Superintendent Dr. Jared Cotton’s recommendation at the June 8, 2026, School Board meeting to appoint the following individuals to new roles within the district effective July 1, 2026.
Ms. Teri L. Tucker, from assistant principal, Tallwood High, Virginia Beach City Public Schools, to supervisor of student conduct and compliance, School Administration Building
Mrs. Michael A. Fitch, from school counselor, Oscar Smith High, to administrative specialist, Deep Creek High
Ms. Helena L. Robinson, from teacher, Greenbrier Intermediate, to administrative specialist, Western Branch Primary
