Chesapeake Public Schools is committed to providing our students with high-quality instructional materials that foster academic excellence. As part of this commitment, the Division of Teaching and Learning is conducting a textbook adoption process for K-12 Mathematics and 6-12 English Language Arts (ELA). Parents, staff, and community members are invited to participate in this opportunity to review the proposed instructional materials and provide feedback.
In-Person Review Opportunities
Physical copies of the proposed textbooks are available for public examination now through Thursday, April 30, 2026. To ensure broad access across the city, materials have been distributed to local libraries.
