✈️🚢 Our 5th graders had an incredible experience today visiting Oceana Naval Air Station! They got a firsthand look at naval aviation, learned about the hard work and dedication of our service members, participated in some hands on coding activities and even saw some amazing aircraft up close.
A huge thank you to the men and women at Oceana for welcoming us and inspiring our students with their service and commitment to our country. 🇺🇸

Our 5th graders put their scientist hats on today! 🧪✨ They used Pop Rocks and Sprite to investigate whether gas is matter. The excitement bubbled over (literally!) as they observed the release of carbon dioxide and proved that gas takes up space. Such an awesome hands-on way to see science in action! 🌟🔬🍬🥤
