This week our students explored the world of coding through a variety of Hour of Code activities—designing games, solving puzzles, programming sprites, and so much more! Their excitement was contagious, and the creativity was next level!

Special Guest at BRI! Today our 4th graders had an amazing visit from WAVY-TV 10 Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson! He taught students all about cloud types (he even MADE a cloud!), weather tools, storm safety, and even helped them build a scale model of the Earth and Moon to show just how far apart they really are.
Our kids were completely engaged and inspired—thank you, Mr. Edmondson, for bringing real-world science to BRI! And thank you to Mrs. Sposta for organizing this memorable event!
BRI’s 5th grade chorus shined at the Founder’s Inn today, performing several festive holiday pieces to kick off the season. We’re so proud of their hard work and talent! 🎶✨

BRI's 3rd graders are busy builders this week! They are creating water cycle Ferris wheels with our Lego Spike Robotics Kits and coding the wheel to turn the cycle in the correct order. Way to SOAR, Hawks! #SOARingHighatBRI

BRI's 5th graders are exploring force, motion, and energy this week with Lego Spike Robotics kits & coding. They built mini-golf courses and programmed them to achieve a hole-in-one. Finding that "just right" amount of force is more difficult than it looks. Way to SOAR, Hawks!
