honoring black history

Welcome to the second semester!

During the first semester, we hosted Trunk or Treat, sold spirit wear, gave a “Beary Kind” gift to every student, sold Candy Grams, held the Book Fair, Photos with Santa, and the Penguin Patch. All of these events were a huge success because of you!

Let’s continue working together to make the rest of the year just as great. Please take a moment to complete the survey below and let us know how we’re doing, as well as share any ideas on ways to make Camelot even better.

CAM 2025-26 Family Survey

February is Black History month, and we have planned several activities to broaden our minds and instill a sense of pride in our students, staff, and families. Along with Black History we are also celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 13th. Students may bring in Valentine’s cards for their classmates on this date. February 17th marks the 100th day of school. We often celebrate this day with a variety of activities involving the number 100 such as dressing as someone who is this age (what a blessing if they are), wearing clothing with 100 items, creating displays consisting of 100 items, etc. I am sure that your child’s teacher will provide more details. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns about anything at all. Mrs.Phelps and I are proud to be Knights and are even prouder to be a part of the Camelot Community.

Proud to be Knights,

💜 Mrs. Vaughn & Mrs. Phelps
