We are bursting with pride to announce that 2nd grader Mayukha has been named a Regional Winner in the Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision STEM Competition—the largest of its kind in the world!
Mayukha and her teammate Avik D. outshone thousands of entries across the U.S. and Canada with their invention: The Buddy Band. ⌚🦠 This wearable device uses hydrogel sensors and microchips to detect airborne viruses before they even enter the body—shifting healthcare from treatment to prevention.
As Mrs. Walters says, "Mayukha is a shining example of what happens when curiosity meets determination."
