CHC is a program to help needy children in our school. If you would like to send in canned food, non-perishable food items, mittens, gloves, hats, and/or monetary donations, we would appreciate it! GBI will be collecting the above mentioned items 12/11-12/15.

GBI Energy & Natural Resources Town Hall Meeting took place this morning. Howell's and Smith's students presented their projects and persuasive essays, town hall style, to Council Member Jeff Bunn. Council Member Bunn even shared about his role in politics and how it all began during his school days. Did you know he was an active member of the SCA all throughout middle and high school?

The Hour of Code is a global initiative to support Computer Science Education Week and introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming. All students (PreK-12) can participate!
Visit https://hourofcode.com/us/learn, pick an activity and spend at least one hour coding a solution.
Let us know when you have completed an Hour of Code! Students, teachers and families are encouraged to share a photo holding the Hour of Code certificate sign. Download your copy here: https://5il.co/299hj
Be sure to include our hashtag #CPSHourofCode 😁🖥️
