Legacy Walk-GBHS Seniors from Band, Football, and Cheer did a legacy walk with 3rd Graders from GBI. The Seniors met the 3rd graders at the 50 yard line to walk the field. Together they touched the "Legacy Bell" in the end zone.

It is fire prevention week! Inspector Gibbs and Chief Gulisano from the Chesapeake Fire Department came in to show us Cinco, the 8 year old FIRE DOG, that has been working with the fire dept for the last 6 years. Cinco works for the fire dept as an accelerant sniffing dog. After a fire he goes and sniffs the house to find out where the fire started and how it started. He is 1 of only 60 dogs in the country that does this. After inspector Gibbs read a story to the class about what they do he put on a demonstration in the courtyard where Cinco had to sniff out accelerant (gasoline) that was about 1-2ml (not even enough to dampen the end of a Qtip).
