Attention Wildcats: Spring Sports Tryouts are Coming!

Mark your calendars! Great Bridge Middle School will be holding spring sports tryouts from February 25–27. We are looking for athletes for the following teams:

Important Requirement: All students must have a current athletic physical on file to participate!

Specific times and locations for each sport will be posted soon on the school’s athletics website. Start getting ready now—we can’t wait to see you out there!

Our annual coat drive began January 7th and will NOW run until January 23rd. Please donate any gently used or new coats, sweaters, jackets, and blankets. 🎶8th-Grade Orchestra students at Great Bridge Middle had the incredible opportunity today to work with the Grammy-nominated string ensemble, Palaver Strings!🎻

Huge thanks to Orchestra teacher, Mrs. Kate Malaby, for arranging this special masterclass through the Virginia Arts Festival Education Program.

Students were first treated to a stunning performance by the professional quartet. Then, they received personalized, expert coaching from the musicians! The focus? Their upcoming December concert piece: Themes from the Nutcracker, arranged by Gruselle.
