Our second graders had a fun-filled Ready for Summer STEAM Day on Friday! Students used Beebots and Bluebots to "Catch the Mermaid," created 3D sandcastle masterpieces, shared their summer stories through pattern bracelets, and engineered flash card towers strong enough to hold a beach ball. Such a creative way to celebrate a fantastic year of learning! 🌊☀️🐚

Our second graders visited GBI on Monday for Move Up Day! They had the opportunity to tour their future school and learn what third grade will look like next year.
While we're excited to see all they accomplish in the years ahead, we're definitely going to miss this special group of Wildcats. Once a GBP Wildcat, always a GBP Wildcat! 💚💛🐾

Mrs. Teeman’s and Mrs. Scott’s classes are published authors! They worked hard to turn their how-to writing into a published class book. They surprised Mr. Mason with his own copy and shared that they dedicated the book to him. Such a special way to celebrate their hard work, creativity, and achievement! 📝📚
Friday was another fun-filled day for our 2nd graders! Students enjoyed Field Day, end-of-year celebrations, a sweet treat from Sundae Scoop, and time together as they soak up their final weeks at GBP. We’re going to miss this wonderful group of Wildcats, but we know they’ll do amazing things at GBI! 🎉🍦☀️
Another day of Field Day and party fun for our first graders yesterday! From exciting activities to another visit from the Sundae Scoop ice cream truck, our students had a great time celebrating the end of an amazing school year together! ☀️🎉🍦
Our kindergartners had the BEST time celebrating at Field Day and their end-of-year parties yesterday! ☀️🎉 A huge THANK YOU to our PTA for funding the Sundae Scoop ice cream truck so everyone could enjoy a special treat! 🍦💙 Thank you to Coach Rafter for planning such a fun Field Day, and to our PTA and room parents for helping make this event so special for our students!

Custodial Staff Appreciation Week concluded with the 2026 Custodial Banquet on Saturday, where our custodians were celebrated for their outstanding work! We’re proud to share that our school received a Superior Award for exemplary customer service! We are so appreciative of our custodians and all they do every day.
