The upcoming holiday season is filled with excitement, but it can also be a time when some of our families need a little extra support. 💛 🎙 In our newest episode of Amplified, we sit down with Lisa Kerry, one of our Family & Community Engagement (FACE) specialists and Nischelle Buffalow from Buffalow Family and Friends to talk about partnership, compassion, and how our community works together to make sure no one feels alone this season. 🎧 Hear the stories, learn how to access support, and discover ways to get involved at cpschools.com/amplified or wherever you get your podcasts. #EmpowerCPS #CPSCelebrates

Please help us support families in need this holiday season by donating nonperishable food items. Donation bins will be conveniently located in the foyer for easy drop-off.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping make the holiday season a little brighter for others!

In Science, Mrs. Lugavere's students had a great time exploring the different sizes of the planets. Students had to follow step-by-step directions to create the planets out of play-dough and were amazed at just how much BIGGER the Gas Giants are compared to the Terrestrial planets.

Our 3rd grade students had an exciting and educational visit from the Chesapeake Fire Department! Firefighters shared important fire safety tips, demonstrated their gear, and answered students’ thoughtful questions. The visit emphasized how to stay safe during an emergency, when to call 911, and the importance of having a family fire escape plan. The students especially enjoyed seeing the fire truck up close! Thank you to the brave men and women of the Chesapeake Fire Department for keeping our community safe and helping our students become fire safety smart!
