To top off the night, the senior class got to cool down with some free Kona Ice while soaking in one of the final senior event before prom and graduation. Hard to believe the countdown is officially on! 🎓✨
Tonight at the school board meeting, several of our students were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Congratulations to Zaide Burney for receiving the VHSL Academic Activity Achievement Award! Also recognized were Josh Molitor, SCA President, & Camryn Pogorzelski, Senior Class President.

Neal Challa was recognized as a Top 20 Under 20 award recipient by the Hampton Roads Workforce Council for his community service initiative ColorinSight that works to bring awareness about color vision deficiency.

They dove into African cuisine & explored how minimally processed foods can be both incredibly healthy and packed with flavor.
On the menu: Ethiopian Doro Wat, Egyptian Salata Baladi, Nigerian Jollof Rice, and Kicha.

A dedicated group of students spent their Saturday competing in the Digital Ship Challenge after months of designing, building, testing, and documenting their projects.
Students competed in two divisions: One team designed submersible devices that could dive underwater, navigate a path, and return to the surface. The other built robotic devices controlled with zero visibility, relying only on sensors to navigate a grid of obstacles.

Today we had a great time at our Grassfield Military Cookout! 🇺🇸
This event was open to all of our students who are military kids as part of Month of the Military Child. It was a small way for us to show appreciation for the strength, resilience, and sacrifices these students make every day.
We are proud to celebrate and support our military connected Grizzlies, not just today, but all year long. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community! 💜
