Bus Schedules for December 16, January 8, and January 13

High school buses will run at their regularly scheduled time to pick up the following students:

  • SOL Test Takers

  • All Students who ride Special Education Buses (There is no additional special education bus run.)

  • Out-of-attendance-zone STEM Academy, International Baccalaureate, and Science and Medicine Academy students 

  • High school routes will run again, two and a half hours later, to bring all remaining high school students to school for instruction. Student bus riders should be at their bus stops by 10:45 a.m.

The Chesapeake Career Center (CCC) will be closed in the AM. CCC will serve A.M. session students on the afternoon of January 8.   Morning CCC students who ride the bus to CCC may eat lunch inthe cafeteria beginning at 11:50 am. They will catch the bus to CCC in the front of the building at 12:15 pm. There will be no PM CCC on January 8. PM CCC Students who have in-person HHS classes should report to HHS in the afternoon for Blocks 1 and 2.

Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) students will maintain their afternoon GSA schedule on all three adjusted schedule days and will be excused from block 1 and 2 attendance on January 8. 

Attendance

Attendance counts for both afternoon classes. All students with in-person Block 1 and 2  classes (except the GSA students mentioned above) are expected to attend Blocks 1 and 2 in the afternoon.
