Applications are live!! Due January 22! The job shadowing program is a career exploration activity providing an opportunity for eligible students to "shadow" an individual for a day at his or her workplace. The experience allows the student to observe the tasks and responsibilities necessary in a particular career cluster, field, or specific job and increase awareness of businesses within the community.
11th and 12th-grade students who are 16 years old by February 29, 2024
Students will shadow a local business professional for the day and gain experience in the field of work. This experience will foster career awareness, explore fields in which there is an interest or aptitude, and strengthen the student’s motivation and informed decision-making skills regarding careers. Specific job placement opportunities are available in the online application.

The Intro to Fashion students and Fashion 1 students were able to deliver their monsters to their kindergartners at Southeastern last week. The kindergartners drew their monster pictures and the students turned them into stuffed animals. 🫶🏽 This year we also teamed up with the Ceramics classes as they made them a matching monster ornament. 🙌🏾The students love spending the day with the @see_lil_hawks kindergarteners! #hickory #hawks #community #create #fashiondesign #ceramics #teamwork #littlehawks
